30 Hot Actresses In 2017

It has been a busy year for the lovely Margot with the release of not one, but three movies! Suicide Squad has got to be one of the most talked-about movies of the year, for its all-star cast and unique storyline, and the remake of Tarzan, that truly got our hearts racing. In every single movie she gives an outstanding performance!

You probably recognize Sophie from Game of Thrones but she also hit the big screen this year in X Men: Apocalypse, where she was praised for her stellar performance. Her next two movies have been wrapped up and will be released towards the end of the year – Alone and Huntsville, and we are excited to see one of our favorite breakthrough actresses again!

Jennifer Lawrence is not just a wonderful actress, but also goofy and cool, we definitely want to be her best friend! She has been rather busy this year, what with her starring role in X Men and her narrating role in A Beautiful Planet, a documentary exploring Earth and how it is seen from the International Space Station. Her latest film, Passengers, is about to be released, and will also star Chris Pratt. It tells the story of Aurora and Jim, who buy a ticket to a faraway planet. However, trouble strikes in the plane, and they are woken prematurely. It is the must-see sci-fi thriller of the year!

Chloe may not have always hit the headlines for her movies this year, but she has starred in a wide variety of movies this year. You have probably seen her on the posters for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising alongside Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne, where she plays Shelby, the leader and founder of Kappa Nu, a sorority that has moved in next door… let the fun begin!

The gorgeous Emilia is famous for her role playing Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, but since her starring role in the HBO series, she has landed some huge roles such as Holly Golighty in the Broadway production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and she played Sarah Connor in the last Terminator movie. This year, she starred in rom-com Me Before You and she has another exciting project being released this year, called Voice from the Stone, a thriller that will definitely get your heart racing!

Blake has had so many roles over the past few years yet she has managed to play them amazingly, giving them her own spin and giving it her all. Of course, we will always love her as Serena Van Der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, but she has also done some jaw-dropping films. In 2016, she starred in the film The Shallows, and just the trailer got us hearts racing!

Is there a character that Krysten can’t play? She is so versatile, starring in comedy series Don’t Trust The B**** in Apartment 23, to playing the feisty Jessica Jones in the Netflix series, she is definitely one to watch! She has a movie coming out in 2017, The Hero, so we will be seeing her very soon!

You probably recognize the beautiful French actress from the 2012 movie Dark Shadows where she starred alongside legends such as Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, or Sin City: A Dame To Kill For in 2014. Though she hasn’t been seen on the silver screen for a few years, she recently made a come back, with the main role in the new Tim Burton movie, Miss Peregrine’s Home For Perculiar Children, where she plays a headmistress that can transform into a falcon!

Kristen is one of the hottest actresses right now, and though she may make you think back to your teenage Twilight-obsessed years, the success she has gained from the saga has allowed her to get some top roles, including a new Woody Allen film, Café Society. It tells the story of a young man who moves to Los Angeles where he falls in love with his uncle’s assistant, played by Stewart. It features an all-star cast with Stewart, Blake Lively, Steve Carrell and Jesse Eisenberg.

After a 6-year break from Hollywood, Renée came back this year with the long-awaited Bridget Jones’ movie. Our favorite British rom-com came back starring Renée and Colin Firth, as well as our favorite hunk Patrick Dempsey. The pretty actress also starred as Loretta in The Whole Truth, a thriller with the talented Keanu Reeves.

The gorgeous Shailene has kept us on the edge of our seats or made us cry waterfalls thanks to her moving performances in the Divergent series and of course The Fault In Our Stars. This year, the third Divergent movie came out but she also got herself one of the leading roles in Snowden, a biographical political thriller about the story of Edward Snowden.

Does Lizzy seem familiar to you? We couldn’t believe it when we saw she played the hilarious Janis Ian in Mean Girls! Since then, she has been in many films and starred in the TV series, Masters of Sex. She landed a role in Now You See Me 2 as Lula, a new member of the Four Horsemen, a group of magicians that are hired to pull off a tricky heist.

Emma is such a good actress, and we love to see her playing bitchier characters like Chanel Oberlin in Scream Queens. She has also gained more attention through her leading role in American Horror Story, thanks to the gripping plot and her fabulous acting. Emma is very versatile, ranging from horror to action genres, and can truly make any film great!

The multi-talented Anna showed us that she could not only act but sing beautifully thanks to the Pitch Perfect movies. In 2016, Anna has done 5 movies, including the highly-anticipated Trolls movie with Justin Timberlake and Zooey Deschanel. It is the perfect movie to go and see as a family!

Rebel constantly has us in stitches with her brilliant comedic timing and her wit, and the movies she released this year are no exception! How To Be Single is definitely the funniest rom-com of 2016 and like any Sacha Baron Cohen movie, The Brothers Grimsby is a must-see! Pitch Perfect fans brace yourselves, as in 2017 the third movie will be released, and we cannot wait to see more of Rebel and Anna!

Willa grabbed our attention with her brilliant acting in the MTV series Scream, which, by the way, if you haven’t watched it already, where have you been? Now that filming for Scream has wrapped up, she has other projects on the horizon, including a movie, Freak Show, a young adult LGBT movie, showing us that she too, is versatile!

British actress Jenna is new on the Hollywood circuit but she has already impressed us with her natural and flawless acting. She first came to our attention when she starred as the Doctor’s assistant on Doctor Who from 2012 to 2015, but more recently she has starred in history drama Victoria, where she plays the main character, and blows us all away! She also got herself a role in Me Before You along with fellow Brit Emilia Clarke.

Emily gained great success as, uh, Emily in The Devil Wears Prada, she won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in 2006, and ever since then, the movies just keep on coming! Ten years on from The Devil Wears Prada, she is the star of the highly-anticipated The Girl On The Train based on the novel of the same name. She is also the main actress in The Huntsman: Winter’s War, which is a spooky twist on one of your favorite fairytales, Snow White.

Dakota came to our attention when she landed the iconic role of Anastasia Steele in 50 Shades of Grey. It threw her into the spotlight and since then she hasn’t stopped! This year she starred in How To Be Single along with Rebel Wilson, and filmed Fifty Shades Darker, that we cannot wait to see on Valentine’s Day 2017!

Rachel has moved us to tears or made us cry of laughter, and every movie she does is special. Obviously, you remember her as popular girl Regina in the famous chick flick Mean Girls, but she is remembered for other iconic roles like that of Allie in The Notebook (that was a non-stop blub-fest!) and as Paige in The Vow. In 2016, we learnt she would star in Marvel movie Doctor Strange, which will be released towards the end of the year, alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, and the plot sounds exciting!

Lea showcased her talents in her performance in the Glee series, before turning her hand to singing and releasing her album Louder in 2014. She quickly came back to acting, and stars alongside Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis in Scream Queens, playing the hilariously creepy Hester Ulrich.

Lady Gaga is one of our favorite singers of all-time, feisty, crazy and passionate, she is all we want to be! Whilst she was taking a break from performing, she got a role in American Horror Story: Hotel as Elizabeth, who is the owner of the hotel. Lady Gaga showed us her incredible acting skills and won a Golden Globe for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film at this year’s ceremony, and she is currently back for the sixth series!

The beautiful Brittany has been on the scene for a long time, and has been in all of our favorite movies! She will be back for Pitch Perfect 3 in 2017, but this year, she starred in The Late Bloomer, a comedy about a sex therapist going through puberty at the age of 27 following the treatment of a benign tumour in his brain. The video is to be released through video on demand with Momentum Pictures.

Gemma got her big break as a Bond Girl in Quantum of Solace, and since then her beauty and brilliant acting have got her heaps of roles! We enjoyed her performances in Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters and in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and 2016 promises to be a great year for her, as she has 4 projects lined up! In particular, The Girl With All The Gifts looks like an amazing movie, it’s a post-apocalyptic zombie movie that will be unlike anything you have seen before!

We were distraught to know Nina was leaving the Vampire Diaries after season six, but she could be back, as producers are currently trying to convince her. Whilst we wait for her comeback, check out her other projects in 2017, including xXx: Return of Xander Cage. It is set to be one of the hottest action movies that year. Xander Cage comes out of self-imposed hiding and creates a team to find a dangerous weapon. Nina will star with Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson and Ruby Rose in this action-packed film!

After Glee, she showed us her versatility and talent in several films. She has starred in Luc Besson film, The Family with Robert DeNiro and Michelle Pfeiffer, and more recently, in 2015, Zipper, a political thriller that definitely will leave you feeling restless. At the end of this year, she will appear in another thriller called Jekyll Island with Minnie Driver and Ed Westwick, the cast will definitely make this movie a success!

Ariana has made a comeback to acting through her role as Sonya Herfmann in season 1 of Scream Queens. Though we do not know if she will feature in any movies or TV shows, we definitely hope to see her again. In the meantime, she has released her album Dangerous Woman, and it is sexy, beautiful and pretty much badass, we have it constantly on repeat!

Vanessa rose to fame with the High School Musical movies, but it didn’t stop there! More recently she has been on the stage, performing in Gigi at the Kennedy Center and Broadway, showing us her amazing talent, and she made us all cry with her performance as Rizzo in Grease. It is incredible to believe her father had died just the day before, she kept it together and sang beautiful like a true professional! She has been cast in a new DC Comics series, Powerless, which is about what it is like to live a normal life in a world of superheroes and vilains. This is definitely a series we have to watch!

It is hard to believe that Mila Kunis has voiced Meg Griffin from Family Guy for more than 17 years now, doesn’t time fly? This year, her movie Bad Moms was released, and is the ultimate chick flick! It is about three moms who let loose and allow themselves to have fun and make mistakes, and also take a look at their own situations. It is a fun film that will also make you remember that your mom needs quality time for herself!

Though Selena has been concentrating more on her music as of late, she hasn’t completely stopped doing movies. She is brilliant in The Fundamentals of Caring with Paul Rudd and Craig Roberts, and truly touches us. She also starred alongside Chloe Grace Moretz in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, as Madison, who is in a rival sorority.
