It is evident that fashion bloggers have become one of the biggest phenomenon’s in fashion during the last decade. Bloggers are seen as influencers, or ambassadors of brands while collaborating and advertising to the fashion buyers. In a society so warped around social media, it is clairvoyant that fashion bloggers are the powerhouse of all things image, and that is why these popular blogs have become multimillionaire businesses.

 

The world of blogging is a lot bigger than one would think. It is easy to keep up with trends and find outfit posts through social media, but it’s the bloggers who are actually creating the trends and influencing the people who are creating the actual clothes. Even since 2013, blogging has become substantially more popular, and social media is now one of the best places to advertise a brand. Since blogging is the biggest and most common form of fashion in one’s everyday life, we have compiled a list of this year’s top fashion bloggers and Instagrams to follow!

1Chiara Ferragni – The Blonde Salad

With more than 5.6 Instagram followers, Chiara Ferragni has become the highest paid blogger of 2016. She is based in Los Angeles, and her website the blondesalad.com, has been able to move a lot of product in the US. Her latest project is her shoe line: Chiara Ferragni Collection. It is sold at over 300 retailers worldwide and earned her $10 million last year. She is now set to open her own store in Milan, and became a global ambassador of Pantene. She also managed to appear in over 25 international magazines.
Chiara started her blog in 2009, and by 2011 New York Magazine named her “One of the biggest breakout street-style stars of the year.” Ferragni’s prior fashion design collaborations have included work with Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, J Brand and Seven for All Mankind.

Another LA-based fashion blogger who has made an impression on the fashion industry is Julie Sariñana. She began her blog in 2009, and now has 3.4 million instagram followers. She also became very popular on Pinterest, and designed her own line of T-Shirts with cute quotes and fashion forward sayings. Julie posts all things creativity and inspiration ranging from makeup trends, fashion trends and quotes to live by.
