Spring Colors: Color Fashion Trends For This Spring

Spring has come round again and it can be a challenging time fashion-wise. We can picture it now, staring into our wardrobes full of winter clothes or last year’s summer trends. Do you want to know what you should keep an eye out for on your next splurge? Look no further!

1Florals – Outerwear

Florals are a classic pattern that will get you through any season, but when it comes to outerwear, the floral bomber is a must-have. In light, fresh tones like this one in white, pastel pink and khaki, it will tide you into the end of summer too! Dress it down with cute khaki shorts or give it a night time spin with black skinny jeans and tan wedges.

2Florals – The Bardot Top

Off the shoulder Bardot tops are another spring/summer essential. They are so versatile, and a floral one will just tick off all our boxes! Navy blue makes it all the more elegant, with hints of white and pastel pink, which, as you have probably noticed, are two of the hottest colors right now! White bottoms and this top will be your ultimate spring combo!

3Florals – Ruffles

Ruffles are a trend that is constantly evolving – the more ruffles the better nowadays! That is why, for spring 2017, you need a ruffled floral shirt. This can work if you are dressing to impress, or even for a more casual look. Mint green is a great color choice, as it makes your skin look more tanned and radiant.

4Khaki – Pants

Khaki is a versatile color that can provide you with lush outfits all year round. This season, it is all about a more androgynous look. Loose khaki denim with a work shirt tucked in teamed with feminine heels, adds just the right amount of edge all whilst looking smart. It is a color that goes with everything, so if you are a monochrome kinda girl, or you love a pop of pastel pink, khaki will be your savior!

5Khaki – The Military Jacket

Camouflage print is a fun way of incorporating the military look into your everyday wardrobe. Keep your outfit simple to allow the jacket to be the centerpiece. A cami slip dress in black gives the chic look the jacket needs for a luxurious NYW street-style feel. Add some oversized sunnies to feel like a star!

6Khaki – The Shirt Dress

The shirt dress is a very popular choice amongst celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes this season, so what is stopping you from getting your own? We love this one in khaki! Don’t forget to work with accessories to flatter your figure, like this tan belt that will nip you in at the waist.

7Leopard Print – The Maxi Dress

Leopard print can overface you, can’t it? Be adventurous, and try one of this season’s hottest trend! In these wilder tones, with a more realistic small print, you will not shock, but impress, as you walk down the street. A maxi dress is a great way of teaming leopard print with spring style as we move more towards the summer. A leather biker jacket will have a rock-chick vibe, making you look like you should be in the band!

8Leopard Print – Ankle Boots

If you are still a bit scared to try leopard print, build it into your outfits slowly but surely with these cute ankle boots. Faded blue denim, with a band-tee, will give a glam-rock vibe that everyone will be jealous of! Add a bit of dramatic lipstick to fully embrace the look!

9Leopard Print – The Pencil Skirt

A leopard print pencil skirt? Are we sure? Of course, we are! As long as you keep the rest of the look as minimal as possible, you can’t go wrong! An old band tee and oversized sunnies make the look super casual but all whilst using the latest trends. Nude make up will work best with this look.

10Yellow – The Umbrella Skirt

All the biggest brands such as Coach and Kate Spade have used bright yellow in their Spring/Summer collections, but here is how you can get the look for less. A yellow umbrella skirt is a bold statement piece that will go with all your basic tees and will make your outfit all the more striking. We love this skirt with a nautical-style top, the yellow adds a pop of color to a monochrome outfit. It flatters all skin tones too!

11Yellow – The Waterfall Coat

The waterfall coat is light, practical and flattering! With the forever-changing weather, it is difficult to know how to cover up. The waterfall coat will help you without making you break a sweat. Team it with a nautical dress, or a basic white tee and blue denim combination for a fun and bright look.

12Yellow – The Mini Skirt

With all these maxi and midi skirts out, it is hard to know if the mini is still on trend. However girls, it still is! In this season’s hottest shade, bright yellow, you will have the most fashionable piece out there. Get those pins out and team with black heels for an evening out with your special someone.

13Nude – Tailored Pants

Tailoring is a huge part of fashion. Don’t be afraid to be led astray from your denim and take the leap to tailoring. Tailored pants come in all sorts of shapes to flatter your body shape. Whether you are looking for flared, carrot leg or cigarette, you are bound to find your dream pair! Nude tones are still in and work so well with the pastel shades we discussed earlier.

14Nude – The Playsuit

The playsuit will forever be in our hearts, and nude makes a beautiful color for dresses and playsuits. It has a romantic feel to it and also works for any occasion. Team with flats for the day time and add rose gold accessories and heels for a dressier vibe. It will look lush on the darker-toned ladies!

15Nude – The Biker Jacket

The biker jacket is a great throw-on when you want to look like you made an effort (when you actually haven’t). We love this one from Asos! You can never have too many colors and nude is one you need! It adds a feminine touch to a casual outfit and is a much-needed dash of color for you monochrome-lovers.

16Pink – The Fitted Coat

Pink, whether it is pastel or bright, is a must-have in your spring wardrobe for 2017. With the uncertain weather, you will need a fitted coat! It can make your streetwear look become a bit more business woman in a blink of an eye. We love teaming pink with bright blue denim and light gray tops and sweaters for a sweet and refreshing look.

17Pink – The Pleated Midi Skirt

Have you had enough of the denim skater skirts? Can’t find a maxi at the length you would like? We feel you! Midi skirts are a much-needed addition to your spring wardrobe. Add a white tee and white Superstars for a princess-like daytime look, or wear a glam black body and heels for a special occasion. They will get you out of so many wardrobe-crisis, believe us!

18Pink – The Shirt Dress

Yes, another shirt dress! We love this one, as it has a 50s vibe to it. This dress is fitted in the middle and kicks out into a flared skirt, that will have such amazing movement as you walk down the street. Oversized sunglasses and tan accessories will make you look like a movie star!

19Bright Red – The Cropped Sweater

Crop tops are so important when wearing high-waisted bottoms. This one is one of our favorites yet – flute sleeves – check, pin stripes – check, ruffles – check. What does this top not have? Red is a flattering bright color that will not only turn heads, but will make you look glowing. If you’re a blonde, this is a perfect color choice!

20Bright Red – Coords

Open back tops and sexy, without being over the top. Show a glimpse of tanned skin for the warmer months ahead. Team a bright top with matching pants for a dressy, well-prepared look that will make you wish spring lasted forever! Slip on some gladiator sandals and you are good to go!

21Bright Red – The Bardot Top

Another off-the-shoulder top that will get you hot under the collar! This outfit choice is daring with various different prints, but also screams Spring 2017! Cigarette pants that cling to your hips, with a floral belt, will help flaunt your figure and define your silhouette. Keep your accessories to a minimum to let your outfit do the talking.

22Stripes – The Working-Girl Shirt

Stripes are an important part of the working-girl look. Blue and white bank stripes are great for girls who love a preppy look. Wear it with washed-out denim or tuck it into a sleek pencil skirt for your next meeting. Let’s face it, you can’t go wrong with a shirt!

23Stripes – The Jumpsuit

Another spring way of getting a bit of stripes into your wardrobe is with a fun jumpsuit. We love the minimal jumpsuit, which you can team with anything, from sneakers to nude heels, this is an extremely versatile piece! The cut-out feature in the middle draws attention to your waist in a subtle way and creates an hourglass figure.

24Stripes – Tailored Pants

We love these striped pants! They are very extravagant with crazy stripes all over, but can totally work with a minimal outfit. We love the cappuccino color used, which will flatter all skin tones and can still work in the spring with a splash of white. We love the flared leg for practical, comfy style!

25Teal – Taking The Plunge

One of the spring essentials is the playsuit. A plunging jumpsuit in one of the hottest colors, teal, is the perfect party piece to turn heads in. With a statement necklace to finish off this beautiful look, this teal playsuit will compliment your skin tone and give a luxurious feel to your outfit.

26Teal – The Maxi Dress

You can never have enough maxi dresses! Dress them up with nude heels or dress them down with tie-up gladiator sandals. This teal shirt dress is the perfect piece for your casual wardrobe and is one of those pieces you will get a lot of wear out of, due to its timeless simplicity.

27Teal – The Trusty Clutch

Clutches are so useful for dressing up outfits, and for holding all your night-out essentials. With gold finishings, this is the bag you will need for your next special occasion. We think this will look lush with an all-white outfit!
